Disney World has been told to be one of Florida's most famous attractions. Florida's history goes way back. Unfortunately, Florida did face the Great Depression. Florida is one of the hottest vacation spots. It is also one of the worlds strongest tourist magnets. Florida was named by Ponce De Leon in 1512. He named it "la Florida." It was a spanish based named, and he named it based on all the flowers in the state.  People who live in Florida or who come from Florida are called Floridians. Floridians have been referred to as "Alligators" after the Alligator population of the state. They've been called "Crackers" in a reference to the sound of the Mule-driver's whips over the backs of their mules in the early days of the state. Florida is the perfect vacation spot for familys, and I encourage everyone to be able to visit here at some point in their lifetime.
